Financial Reporting Manager

We are currently searching for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at our Southfield Corporate Office in Southfield, MI.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with the corporate accounting team, finance team and the business units to support the consolidations and internal/external reporting process.
- Ensure the proper consolidation of the Company’s financial information within consolidation software.
- Assists in month end closing procedures preparing analysis and information to support the financial closing process.
- Preparation of reporting packages for use by Chinese parent in its consolidation process. Year-end reporting package is quite involved in terms of financial data provided.
- Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure Budgeting and Forecasting capability aligns with Closing & Reporting procedures.
- Provides guidance and coaching to business unit accounting teams on proper operational accounting processes.
- Maintain mapping files of the Company’s various ERPs into consolidation software.
- Perform certain financial adjustments / updates as needed, including adding new accounts, modifying account groupings, updating entity groupings, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- 5-7 Years of experience
- Expert knowledge of a financial consolidation software platform; OneStream experience strongly preferred.
- Experience performing consolidation accounting.
- Experience preparing financial statements preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
